Dutch scientists consider that if during pregnancy a woman eats nuts every day, this 50 % increases risk of asthma development in a future baby.
Scientists investigated an effect from consumption of various kinds of nuts, including peanut (which, as a matter of fact, is not a nut). A peanut is a potential allergen and can cause very strong anaphylactic shock.
Researches showed that if a woman ate nuts daily during pregnancy, the risk of short wind and asthma symptoms development are raised in a baby. And if a woman ate more fruits, the risk of asthma development decreased.
In any case, doctors advise pregnant women observing moderation in food. Any product in too considerable quantities can bring more harm, than use.
