Here is a rating of best fashion designers that surprised the world with bright collections and made society talking about them.

Line 5 - Stella McCartney – “For humanity and workaholism”

This famous fashion designer deserves attention not only due to ideal cutting that prepossess with sexuality, but also due to activity and creation of whole movement dedicated to the problem of humane animal treatment. This year Stella even created a fashion collection together with PETA.

Another achievement – a line of sportswear Stella created for Adidas. Probably it is no coincidence that Mrs. McCartney was acknowledged “The Best British designer 2007” by British Fashion Awards association, and in the rating of the best from the best she deserved an honourable 5 line.

Line 4 - Hussein Chalayan – “For the most sensational collection “Future Wear”

Even people strange to fashion will remember dresses-transformers made of plastic triangles for a long. At an owner’s will, due to a fitted automation technology, dresses can change length and even style, and a wide-brimmed hat turns into an elegant cap easily.

Line 3 - D&G – “For maximum dose of epatage brought into an everyday mega polis fashion”

This duet created a line of shows connected by common special style, however, they each of them is absolutely individual and innovative due to elements and trends offered in them.

Line 2 - John Galliano for fashion house DIOR – ‘For talent, cosmopolitism and wide circle of creative fits”

This is a man whose creative work can be just admired. The one, whose talent cannot leave people untouched. Remember all his grandiose shows of mad ideas, images and reincarnations. Unimaginable forms, cutting and materials, frantic make-up: maximum glitter and refined glam – here is a style that can be recognized among tens of thousands. He always manages gathering only best models on one podium, and hall is always filled with most influential public on his shows.

This designer always has something to do. This year he was seen in Asia, Europe, USA. Probably, this is a key to his success. Representative of almost each race and nationality can find a part of his traditions in Galliano’s attires.

Line 1 – Valentino – “For passion for female beauty and eager zeal to accentuate it”

Probably, there is no any other designer, whom we heard so many legends of. Dresses from Valentino are magic, they can change destiny and make impossible – change… a woman. The whole world knows – any woman can feel she’s a queen, if she wears a dress from this designer.

Unfortunately, even best from the best grow old. Previous year will go down in history as a year, when a great king of Italian fashion beat the last bar in his parade of elegance and beauty, 45 years long, and finished his carrier in the world of great fashion. This event can be called really the loudest one of year 2007, it excited the whole world.
