Scientists have been discussing best sleep’s duration for a long, however, British experts agreed that healthy sleep length is 7 hours - not more or less.
 
Researchers from Great Britain do not agree with previous scientists’ statements that one needs eight-hour sleep.
 
Representatives of London University College had been studying questions of sleep length and observed state of health of more than 10 000 people aged 35-55 for more than 10 years. Finally, they discovered that long sleep during 7-8 hours is unhealthy for organism, as well as short-term sleep.
 

According to doctors, seven-hour sleep is optimal for health, and any departure from this norm leads to violation of not only biological clocks of organism, but also development of diseases, dangerous for life.
