Marriages where woman is too talkative and man is a henpecked are most nondurable, experts state

Psychologist Seller from USA realized an experiment with 95 students (45 women and 50 men) and came to a conclusion that phrase “no wisdom like silence” concerns only women.

Students were shown 4 video records of a conversation, where men and women behaved in absolutely different ways: 1 - man took initiative in his hands, 2 - woman, 3 - both persons tried to dominate, and 4 - conversation was not successful because of partners’ diffidence. It turned out that all students - both men and women - considered conversation where man dominated a normal one, Livescience writes.

After additional sociologic research, psychologist discovered: if ladies could control their emotions and watched their words, quantity of successful marriages could be much bigger. Statistics say that unions between taciturn men and talkative women break up more often, than unions between loquacious men and women who know how to listen.
