Homoeopathy is pseudo-medicine. An Italian professor made such statement, having analyzed data of 5 dimensioned researches. “We found no important advantages in comparison to placebo. Homoeopathy is efficient as placebo, or, if you like, as fresh water”, professor explained. 

Besides, professor assures that such “soft” treatment brings no use and also has unexpected side effects: “results of researches prove low effectiveness of homoeopathic medications and testify to negative results of treatment”.

Besides homoeopathy, Italian experts also criticized other kinds of alternative medicine: acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine and phytotherapy, Corriere della Sera writes.
 

Manufacturers of homoeopathic pharmaceutics strongly object experts’ conclusions and state that “homoeopathy is the only chance for tomorrow’s medicine. But it cannot develop by itself, it needs support of scientists, academic world and practical doctors”.
