The Girls Aloud singer admits her husband, Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole, doesn’t have to lift a finger round the house because her doting mother, Joan Callaghan, is always on hand.

When asked if Ashley was a good house-husband, Cheryl told Britain’s OK! magazine: “A good house-husband? No. He doesn’t do a thing. Not a thing. Maybe he’ll make the odd cup of tea, but that’s it. Luckily, my mum lives with us and she’ll do lots of stuff. But we’re having an amazing time. I love being married.”

The 23-year-old singer also insists she has no regrets about selling her wedding photos to a glossy magazine, because she did it for her adoring fans.

Cheryl explained: “The people who criticised us were the very same ones who write nasty, hurtful things about us all year round. At the end of the day, I wanted my fans to see the wedding as it was. If it wasn’t for them I would have never met and married Ashley. I also wanted it to be documented so my kids can see it, when I have them.”
