Scientists warn: modern way of living leads to reduction of number of spermatozoa and worsening of their quality factors

Scientists warn: modern way of living leads to reduction of number of spermatozoa and worsening of their quality factors. Research, carried out in USA, says that today male organism produces thrice less spermatozoa, than hamster’s organism.

On average, number of male sex cells reduced 2,5 times during last 50 years, from 150 millions on 1 mil of seminal fluid approximately up to 60 millions. Hamsters produce 160 millions on 1 mil, scientists inform.

Researchers found out genetic damages in sex cells of men, drinking caffeine in average doses. Such damages can lead to death of fetus or birth of a baby with genetic diseases.

This research testifies also that man’s quality of sperm worsens with age. However, regardless of age, sex cells DNA of men, who take caffeine daily, are damaged more. This threatens with appearance of defects and mutations in a baby, such as cancer and sterility. Scientists have not discovered yet the way caffeine can cause such effect. Probably, the problem is not in caffeine itself, but in other peculiarities of coffee-drinking people’s life.

Reasons of quick and long fall of spermatozoa number index all over the world are still unclear. American scientists offer two hypotheses: usage of antidepressants and long usage of cell phones.

Such substances like polychlorobiphenyls, dioxins and phthalates, contained in food, cause big doubts in scientists.

Meanwhile, EU government insisted on removal of most part of such preparations from new European lists of banned substances, regardless of availability of their safe analogues.
