Even traditionally warm regions are subjected to snowstorm and snowfall attacks more and more often. So, it’s time to think about caps. And choose the most appropriate variants among ones that leading Fashion houses offer us this season.

Knitted caps - are an obvious hit of this season, you should not ignore it, even if you always liked classic elegance.

Look, for example, at nice coquettish caps of snow-white yarn from Blugirl or Burberry, which resemble old-fashioned French berets with loose soft silhouette. They are wonderfully combined not only with volumetric jackets, but also with absolutely bourgeois fur jackets. They accentuate young girls’ freshness and innocence and mature ladies’ feminity.

Knitted caps of white volumetric yarn - are a 100% hit of fashionable autumn-winter season. You can see them in different collections, and models of white yarn are so varied. Besides berets, Blugirl offers funny helmet or hood caps, which cover not only ears, but also neck. Burberry presents wide choice of caps without band, which just cover head tightly, like a capsule. Emilio Pucci shows rather sports models, on a wide band, resembling us of  downhill skiing trips of just walks around winter forest.

D&G presented the widest range not only of knitted things, but also knitted caps. They prefer big volumes, large patterns and unusual forms. These can be big hoods-stockings; huge berets in grunge style; knitted kepi with hard peaks; caps-capsules with numerous pompons and fluffy fringe. Besides, they all can be trimmed with beads, artificial pearl, rhinestones, pieces of fur.

In general they look very stylish. Wear all this with long wide and soft comforters. In general, big volumes and additions to knitted caps are welcomed by many designers. Thus, Sonia Rykiel offers rather big caps of double volumetric band, and they are also decorated with knitted large flowers, rosettes of several rows of knotted frills.

Louis Vuitton also offers interesting variant. Knitted cap from this fashion house is just a part pf a long double scarf. The same number is used to warm head and neck.

By the way, today designers offer us also fur caps of similar style. Thus, Giambattista Valli presents same gnome caps, not hand knitted, but of short-piled fur. They are soft and seem to be on the large side. This creates a feeling of defenselessness, youth and innocence due to combination of slender neck and head, enlarged due to a volumetric cap.

Although we have to admit that this season fur caps are not too varied, unlike knitted ones. The most populat model on world catwalks this winter - is a very simple cap of a whole piece of long-piled fur. It came to us from the eighties. Of course, such caps are practical and comfortable, good for a frosty winter and advantageous, first of all, due to used fur beauty. Usage of fox and polar fox fur will be the most successful.

Such caps look best of all with coats, volumetric jackets, thick knitted cardigans, sheepskin jackets or leather mackintoshes. In combination with fur coats or fur jackets such caps will look rather vulgar, and luxury of such fur assortment will turn to be somehow deliberate.

However, this season only welcomes return of open luxury. And if you are an admirer of such way of living, this winter you have a wonderful chance to receive lots of pleasure.   Designers have even more extravagant offers for fur caps. For example, Prada and Givenchy present caps, resembling fur trimmed helmets; Louis Vuitton - fur hoods of medieval monastic attires; Nina Ricci - uniform fur trimmed kepis. All this is quite original, however, in everyday life not all variants will be practical and comfortable. But you can venture - and succeed!
