Irish women turned to be most inveterate boozers in the worldResearchers from five Universities of the world came to such conclusion, after they investigated alcohol passions of women from 21 countries in the age from 17 to 30 years.

Researchers referred women, who drank at least four and more portions of alcohol at one go during 2 weeks, to a category of heavy drunkards.

Basing on this criterion, 57% of Irish women, according to scientists, drink to excess. English women are on the second place, 33% of them also drink too much at one go.

Next are women from Germany, Greece, Italia, Romania and South Africa.

Researchers also found out that girls from happy families, living separately from their parents, are mainly grog-hounds.
