Darjiling tea, called champagne among all teas, gains new shapes and sizes

Darjeeling tea was always valued for its unique muscat aroma. But some manufacturers of Darjeeling decided to add an additional external charm to it, to promote its sales at higher prices.
Now Darjeeling tea-leaves will have different shapes: from torch, resembling Olympic one, to pearls, which will unwrap in two leaves and a bud - upper young sprout, gathered from a tea-tree - while brewing.

Variety of design not only attracts a connoisseur’s eye, but is also directly connected with an excellent quality of the product - Darjeeling tea.

For example, “Dragon’s Pearl” - are tea-leaves convolute in a ringlet, in which a unique Darjeeling aroma is combined with jasmine and mint scent - one of last experiments of tea designers.  Many Darjeeling manufacturers started producing tea in a new design, mainly counting on foreigners.

Regardless of the fact that such design is not original, - it has been developing in China since long ago, - this is a great innovation conformably to Darjeeling. Earlier manufacturers relied only on Darjeeling’s aroma while selling.
