German dermatologists discovered a regularity between wrinkles and quantity of vegetables and fruits we eat. It turns out, people, who eat many fruits and vegetables, have much less wrinkles, than those, who eat few of them.
Besides, German doctors came to a conclusion, that red fruits and vegetables are most efficient in struggle with wrinkles. For example, paprika, tomatoes, grapefruit.
Dermatologists explain such phenomenon with help of “free radicals theory”. Free radicals - are mobile oxygen molecules, causing harmful oxidative reactions in our organism. Their active influence on a person can cause premature ageing and even skin cancer.
Special substances, so-called antioxidants, help to connect free radicals and, accordingly, slow down the process of ageing. In particular, they include vitamins A, C and E, and also a number of natural ferments.
German scientisis urge actively eating fruits and vegetables, containing plenty of antioxidants. They assure, that their active eating will help to slow down the process of ageing on 2-3 years.
