Weight loss not always can help you to get rid of “orange peel” from hips and buttocks. According to American scientists, additional weight loss can increase evidence of cellulite in women with normal weight.
29 women took part in an investigation, carried out by representatives of American Society of Plastic Surgeons. They all were striving to lose wight with help of various diets, adiposity medicines and surgical weight loss operations (overlap of gastroenteric anastomosis and reduction of stomach).
By the end on this experiment average weight loss of participants was approximately 13,83 kg (30,5 pounds), however, this index varied from 1 to 46 kg (2,3 - 102 pounds) in some women.
According to data of this research’s organizers, improvement of hips and buttocks coverlets condition was noted in 17 participants, whereas in 9 of them scientists established increase of cellulite intension.
“Cellulite affects not only overweight people, although overweight can worsen this condition”, - as one of the research’s co-authors notes.
Nowadays there’re no 100% efficient methods of cellulite treatment. Physical exercises and increase of volume of taken liquid are considered the most efficient methods of struggle with it.
