Many people already have no doubts that they can achieve a lot, if they just attract positive energies and arrange apartment or office interior the right way

Harmony of space

Here’s a list of answers to most common questions about Feng Shui.

Can Feng Shui make someone rich?

You will probably be surprised, when hearing “no”. If this would be true, then Feng Shui experts would start from themselves, and their names would appear in top ten of the richest and influential people of the world. But, according to Forbes announcements, they are not included in the list. A traditional Chinese saying says: “Firstly Fate, then Luck and only then Feng Shui”. Using appropriate knowledge and methods, we can use our potential to the maximum - in limits, destined to us by the Heaven. This means, if Heaven Luck accompanies us, Feng Shui just increases it, and if you also make your own efforts, then it strenghtens your position. And vice versa, if your Heaven Luck is not so favourable to you, Feng Shui can reduce your tortures and problems. In one word, good Feng Shui brings comfort to your life, but it cannot turn you into a really rich man, if Luck is not disposed to you. And no advanced technologies will help you to become the second Bill Gates. The main is to understand that majority of those, who practice Feng Shui, learn its principles or order consultations, gain a potential to earn rather decent sum of money.

But only if they:

1. behave sagely
2. work a lot
3. really want it.

At the heart of Feng Shui conception there’s a theory of 5 elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. A so-called cycle of production can be explained the following way: Wood burns out, feeding Fire, which leaves ashes - Earth after itself; Metal is produced of it, forming Water (remember, water drops appear on cold iron), which grows Wood.

They say amulets, arranged in interior, change life for the better. Is it truth?

Sometimes we do want to put a three-toed toad or a couple of mandarin ducks in a “secret” corner, and the following day to receive a long-awaited promotion or meet a prince charming. But, as a rule, a beautiful souvenir gets dusty on our shelf and miracle doesn’t happen. Why?

Amulets, symbols of wealth and various Tao Divines were always a part of Chinese culture and religion (or superstitions) and never a part of Feng Shui. A modern bank, for example in Singapore, can contain dozens of so-called harmonizing “formulas”, considering compass directions of doors, access roads, surrounding mountains and hills and??¦ look as a 100% building in Western style. But there’re no dragons, tortoises or fountains in it. One of basical Feng Shui principles says: “After consultation a person’s home shouldn’t look like a Chinese souvenirs shop”.

Each element has its own direction in space. Wood feels good in the east and south-east; Fire - south; Earth - north-east, in the center and south-west; Metal - west and north-west; Water - north.

Most part of Feng Shui recommendations is based on interaction of elements and their symbolism.

Can you, please, tell about plants, presenting luck and bringing troubles?

Plants question - is, as the saying goes, a “Feng Shui terror”. They say, if you put a certain plant, perhaps, in the south-west bedroom corner, then your marriage will break up. You shouldn’t be afraid of plants, they are no ways to blame! Nevertheless, several general principles are useful: however, they are rather belong to psychology, than Feng Shui.

It’s not recommended to put many plants in your bedroom: they absorb oxygen at night. And in general, there shouldn’t be anything unnecessary there, only then we get a full-value rest. In this sense, TV is more harmful, than a vase with violets on a window-sill. Don’t put thorns or plants with pointed leaves near a place, where you spend much time, whether a bed or writing-table. If you have several flower-pots in your room, then such composition should look harmoniously. In this case it symbolizes good relations, family entirety or team-work in a company. The main is that plants should instill you with joy and optimism. And in general, plants, causing thoughts of development, growth and prosperity in you, are good. For example, a dragon tree Lucky Bamboo (resembles bamboo, grows in water or a sponge, sodden with water). Put it in your private office under your diploma (certification/licence) and you’ll be enjoying career and business development.

Of course, you can accept Feng Shui philosophy, or you may ignore it. Millions of people live and know nothing of it. But, however that may be, rules of this ancient Chinece teaching help to organize space the way you would feel comfortable in it.
