Employed people often have no time for cooking complex dishes. Nevertheless, everyone still have an opportunity to eat tasty food, while adhering to a diet and using quick dinner ideas. To cook an amazing dinner, one does not need standing at the stove for hours. Today you can buy products already prepared for heat-treatment. For example, you can take chopped meat, frozen or fresh mixed vegetables, a bag of ready sauce and a little noodle. Having prepared all the ingredients for a few minutes, you will get a delicious, nourishing and diet dinner.
If you do not like boiled dish, fry meat in the pan. Modern non-stick cookware allows using a minimum of fat, while keeping food taste and aroma. Reduce the size of meat and highly carbohydrate garnish servings, varying menu with fresh or steamed vegetables, salad.
Ideally, diet meal calorie content should not exceed 450-500 kcal, but this figure can be increased (adding, for example, dessert), if you reduce caloric content of other meals a little.
Examples of quick dinner ideas for busy people:
1. Boil 100 grams whole grain pasta and serve with seafood sauce instead of salad. To prepare sauce, mix ready tomato sauce with 200 g of thawed and heated seafood mixture, a small amount of cut boiled mushrooms and fresh basil.
2. Sprinkle 2 medium salmon fillet, cooked on grill, with prepared pesto sauce. Serve with boiled potatoes or dark rice and broccoli.
3. Eggs a la Florentine: prepare 200 grams spinach in the microwave or on steam, boil 2 large eggs, make bechamel. Put spinach in 2 plates, add eggs on top, pour with sauce and sprinkle with one teaspoon grated cheese. Place in the oven or microwave for a minute and serve with wholemeal bread.
4. Boil 100 g basmati rice with a pinch of curry, mix with 150 g smoked haddock, crumbled, and heated in a microwave oven, 75 g small boiled peas. Decorate each serving with eggs on top.
5. Mix a big bowl of lettuce with 4 slices lean bacon, fried on a grill. Prepare filling of one teaspoon olive oil, one dessert spoon balsamic vinegar, one teaspoon mustard with seeds, a pinch of sugar. Serve with small rolls (one per serving).
6. Cut 2 skinless chicken fillets into chunks, spit, smear with yogurt and crushed garlic, roast on a grill. Serve with slices of lemon, 50 g couscous, tomatoes and salsa with red onion.
7. Sprinkle 2 chicken fillets without skin with a pinch of fresh grated ginger, chopped young onions, add a dessert spoon soy sauce. Wrap in foil and bake for 20 minutes. Serve with rice noodles and green beans.
8. Chop and fry 300 g pork, stirring with sliced carrots, broccoli and onion halves. Add one teaspoon sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, sherry and grated ginger and 2 teaspoons good chicken broth. Serve with 50 g egg noodles.
9. Fry 2 venison steaks (125 grams each) in dry pan for 3 minutes on each side, sprinkle with red wine, add a teaspoon Cumberland sauce and cook until ready. Serve with a salad of red cabbage and whole wheat bread.
10. Cook 2 medium mackerel fillets on grill. Serve with sauce from sour and radish, spinach, cooked in a microwave oven, and boiled potatoes.
11. Cook omelette from 4 eggs, mixed with diced young onions, tomatoes and mushrooms on a small piece of butter. Put finished dish in grill for a moment to form a brown crust, garnish with lettuce and serve with a piece of bread.
12. Cut 250 g mutton in chunks, rub with salt and pepper and cook in a grill a few minutes, then sprinkle with plenty of lemon juice and dried herbs. Serve with flat bread and salad.
